In a shocking incident from Surendranagar’s Dudhraj Vahanvati Nagar, a woman faced horrific abuse after fleeing with her lover. The couple was forcibly returned by the woman’s relatives and husband, leading to brutal acts of violence under the guise of ‘purification’.
Witnesses reported that after being brought back, the woman was held captive while her husband and family perpetrated unspeakable acts against her. Accusations of group sexual assault surfaced, igniting outrage throughout Gujarat.
The male victim accompanying her also suffered severe beatings. Reports indicate he was tied up and tortured cruelly, even forced to drink urine as part of their sadistic punishment.
Alarming footage of these events surfaced online, prompting an urgent response from local law enforcement. Police officials were stunned upon viewing the video, which quickly went viral on social media platforms.
Immediate Law Enforcement Action
Authorities swiftly registered a case and initiated a comprehensive investigation. A total of nine individuals were arrested in connection with these heinous crimes. Among those detained were Ramesh Sarvaiya, the woman’s husband; along with other family members and relatives.
