The winter flight schedule at Rajkot International Airport (Hirasar) will kick off on October 25. Travelers can expect an increase in flight frequency compared to summer, along with several timing changes on popular routes.
To adapt to winter weather conditions, including fog, arrival and departure times for some flights have been adjusted by 15 to 45 minutes. This is a key change as it aims to enhance safety and reliability during the season.
A new route from Rajkot to Goa will operate four days a week: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The flight departs Rajkot at 6:45 PM and connects travelers with Goa International Airport (GOX). Notably, this service wasn’t part of the previous summer schedule but is set to aid those traveling during Navratri and Diwali.
Additionally, travelers heading to Pune should be aware that the flight leaves later now—shifted from 10:20 AM to 1:40 PM. Meanwhile, the Hyderabad service has moved its departure time from 8:10 PM to a morning slot at 8:05 AM. Changes also apply for flights linking Rajkot with Delhi and Mumbai.
This updated schedule shows efforts by airport officials to meet demand while ensuring passenger comfort throughout the winter months.
