To reduce the waiting time for passport appointments, the Regional Passport Office, Ahmedabad, under the Ministry of External Affairs, will conduct a special passport drive on Saturday, July 18, 2026.
The following Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) will remain open to accept applications under the ‘Normal’ category:
- PSK Bapunagar, Ahmedabad
- PSK Vijay Cross Road, Ahmedabad
- PSK Vadodara
- PSK Rajkot
Appointment slots for the special drive will be released shortly. Applicants can either book a new appointment or reschedule an existing one through the Passport India portal.
To apply, candidates must first submit an online application under the Normal category, pay the required fee, and then log in again to book an appointment at their preferred PSK after the payment is confirmed.
Applicants are advised to carry all original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies when visiting the Passport Seva Kendra. The complete list of required documents is available in the Documents Advisor section on the Passport India website.
