Western Railways is launching a special weekly train to meet the growing demand during the festive season. Starting from October 15, 2026, the Pratapnagar-Kolkata Festival Special train will run every Thursday.
Train number 03110 departs from Vadodara at 4:15 PM and arrives in Kolkata at 12:05 PM on Saturdays. The return service, train number 03109, leaves Kolkata every Tuesday at 8:00 AM and reaches Pratapnagar the following day at 11:40 PM. This return service will operate from October 13 to November 24.
The train will make stops at several key stations along the route, including Vadodara, Godhra, Ratlam, Kota, and more. Other notable stops include Prayagraj and Bhabhua Road before heading towards its final destination.
This initiative aims to ease travel for passengers during one of India’s busiest times of year. With numerous stations serviced on both routes, it promises greater accessibility for travelers heading to festivities in Kolkata.
