Questions have been raised over food safety and hygiene in Vadodara after a video allegedly showing a dead fly inside a sealed bread packet went viral on social media. The bread packet reportedly belongs to Super Company, located at Sardar Estate on Ajwa Road.
According to reports, a customer shared the video on social media. The footage appears to show a dead fly inside the unopened packet of bread, raising concerns about the product’s manufacturing, packaging and quality-control processes.
Bread is a commonly consumed food item, and any potential contamination could pose a health concern for consumers. The incident has renewed questions about the hygiene standards maintained during food production and packaging.
However, the authenticity of the viral video and the claim have not yet been officially confirmed. The facts are expected to become clear after the Vadodara Municipal Corporation’s food department investigates the matter.
