A fire broke out at the Avadh Arcade building in the Jivraj Park area of Ahmedabad.
Five fire tenders rushed to the place and rescued two persons through a ladder.
The fire had broken out in the elevator lift of the building. The building has a Maruti Suzuki showroom on the ground floor and an Oyo hotel facility on the upper floors.
The fire was controlled by AMC team, however, there was smoke in the basement and spreading upwards.
