Kankaria Lakefront in Ahmedabad will remain open to the public on November 9, 16 and 23, 2026, during the Diwali vacation, allowing residents and visitors to enjoy its recreational facilities during the school holidays.
All major attractions within the lakefront complex, including the Nocturnal Zoo, main zoo, Naginawadi, Butterfly Park and Kids City, will also remain open as usual on these three Mondays.The decision has been taken to help citizens, especially children, make the most of their Diwali holidays by visiting the popular recreational destination.
Kankaria Lakefront usually remains closed on Mondays for maintenance and cleaning. However, in view of the expected increase in visitors during the vacation, the authorities have decided to keep it open on these three Mondays.
