A 45-year-old stock broker was found dead inside a car parked near an open plot in the Sola area of Ahmedabad.
The deceased has been identified as Harshadkumar Govindbhai Prajapati. According to police, his body was discovered in a vehicle parked near Vihat Bungalows, close to The Capital Road.
Local residents noticed the car and informed the police, following which a team reached the spot and began initial investigations. The body has been sent for post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death.
Police have registered a case of accidental death under “unnatural death” at the concerned police station. Officials said no signs of foul play or suspicious activity have been found so far.
“Prima facie, nothing suspicious has been detected. However, further investigation is underway,” a police official said.
As part of the probe, authorities are also checking CCTV footage in the area and recording statements of nearby residents.
