Ahmedabad’s Thaltej-based car rental company Go with Zoop has allegedly been cheated of ₹2.36 crore after 10 customers rented 15 cars and disappeared with the vehicles.
According to the complaint filed by company owner Saurabh Mohanbhai Tulsiram Gupta, the alleged fraud took place between June 2025 and February 2026. The accused reportedly rented cars at different times, switched off their GPS devices and stopped responding to the company before allegedly fleeing with the vehicles.
The accused have been identified as Laxmanbhai Bharwad of Kheda, Mukeshbhai Prajapati, Deepak Khatri, Rushil Shah, Ravikumar Mehta and Utsav Seth of Ahmedabad, Dhruv Prajapati of Mehsana, Abdul Razak of Rajasthan, Arvindbhai Prajapati of Sabarkantha and Jitendrasinh Solanki of Godhra.
The vehicles allegedly taken include Thar, Swift, Safari, Scorpio, Audi, Fortuner, Ertiga and Baleno models. Solanki allegedly rented the highest number of vehicles—four.
The company claimed that the accused neither returned the vehicles nor paid the outstanding rental amounts. The total value of the 15 cars has been estimated at ₹2,36,30,000.
Following the complaint, police have registered a case against the 10 accused and launched an investigation to trace the vehicles and determine the circumstances of the alleged fraud.
