A Chennai-based techie, Renee Joshilda — arrested for allegedly sending multiple hoax bomb threat emails to high-profile institutions in Ahmedabad, including the High Court — has now approached the HC seeking bail in two pending cases.
Currently lodged in jail, Joshilda moved the High Court after a Sessions court denied her bail in cases linked to threat emails sent to schools in the Bopal and Sarkhej areas.
She was arrested by the Cyber Crime Branch in Chennai for allegedly sending these threat emails.
The High Court has asked the government prosecutor to obtain detailed instructions and has scheduled the matter for further hearing on Tuesday.
