Gujarat Education Department’s inaction against the rising issue of private tuition classes operating as day schools and institutions promoting non-attending students, the Gujarat School Management Association wrote to Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Friday, urging legal action. In the letter, the association recommended surprise inspections by District Education Officers (DEOs) to catch such tuitions and dummy schools in the act and called for strict action against them.
