Residents of Orchid Valley Apartments in Shela have lodged a complaint at Bopal Police Station against paying guest (PG) tenants, alleging disturbances and misconduct.
According to the complaint, some PG tenants misbehaved with women and girls, used facilities like the swimming pool late at night, and played loud music in the gym, causing inconvenience to residents.
The society also flagged violations in rent agreements, with flats being converted into guest houses and more tenants living than permitted. Frequent movement of outsiders was cited as a major concern. Residents further alleged that when they raised objections, some tenants threatened them.
Police have registered the complaint and begun investigating the matter.
