A 30-year-old former administrative executive has filed a police complaint accusing two senior officials of an Ahmedabad-based private firm of verbal abuse, casteist slurs, threats involving a licensed firearm, and ongoing workplace harassment.
According to a media report, deepbhai Himanshubhai Bhatt, a resident of Satellite, lodged the complaint at Bodakdev police station, naming Vishal Dineshbhai Brahmbhatt, owner of Egniol Company, and CEO Johnson Mathew as the accused.
Bhatt, who worked at the company for nearly 10 years, alleged that after raising concerns about complaints filed with the PMO, he faced hostility from the management. He claimed that during a confrontation on May 13, Mathew verbally abused him, used caste-based slurs, and threatened to shoot him with a licensed firearm.
Another incident reportedly occurred on June 17, when Bhatt was insulted and fired by Vishal Brahmbhatt.
Bhatt said other employees are aware of the toxic work environment and can support his claims. Based on his complaint, police have filed an FIR under relevant IPC sections and begun an investigation.
