Applicants appearing for driving tests faced inconvenience on Thursday morning after a technical glitch disrupted the AI-based driving test track at the Darjipura RTO.
As the Darjipura RTO has the only AI-based driving test track in Vadodara district, applicants from surrounding villages travel long distances to take their tests. The process was temporarily halted after a server-related problem affected the test system.
During the two-wheeler driving test, an automatic camera captures the applicant’s photograph while they approach the track. However, due to the server glitch, the camera could not take photographs, bringing the process to a halt.
The problem delayed the driving tests of around 35 applicants, who had to wait for several hours. The applicants expressed frustration over the delay.
The technical issue was resolved in the afternoon, following which the driving test process resumed normally, bringing relief to the applicants.
