The Chartered Accountants Association, Ahmedabad (CAAA), has successfully organised the second edition of Techathon 2.0 under the M.G. Patel Initiative at i-Hub Gujarat bringing together Chartered Accountants, startups and technology innovators on a common platform to drive technology adoption within the CA profession.
CA Dr. Anjali Choksi, President, CAAA, shared that the initiative reflects the Association’s commitment to embracing technology and fostering innovation within the profession. She highlighted that ‘Techathon 2.0’ is the brainchild of CA Kshitij Patel, who supported the initiative under the Manubhai G. Patel Initiative, in collaboration with DEVX and i-Hub Gujarat.
The event was designed to encourage technology adoption within the CA profession while creating meaningful connections between professional practitioners, technology innovators, startups and enterprise solution providers.’Techathon 2.0′ featured two key segments, a Tool Innovation Showcase and an Enterprise Product Showcase presenting technology-driven solutions across areas such as accounting, audit, taxation, compliance, finance and business operations.Shortlisted participants had the opportunity to demonstrate their innovative solutions before distinguished jury panels comprising eminent professionals and industry experts.
The event culminated in the recognition of the top three winners, who were awarded prizes for their innovative and impactful solutions.CAAA, one of India’s oldest and third-largest associations of Chartered Accountants, is celebrating its 75th year of a distinguished legacy this year. Marking this milestone, the Association has placed technology and innovation at the forefront of its initiatives.
