Residents of several housing societies on the Waghodia–Dabhoi Ring Road in Vadodara are facing severe inconvenience after the Municipal Corporation left roadwork incomplete following excavation for paver block installation.
People living in around 10 societies, including Pramukh Park, Dhanalakshmi, Krishnashray and Uma Park near the Sharanam junction, have urged the civic body to repair the road without delay.
According to residents, both sides of the main road were dug up for laying paver blocks, but the work was halted midway.
Civic officials reportedly cited the monsoon as the reason for the delay.Locals said the damaged road has made daily travel difficult for motorists and pedestrians, while children and senior citizens are particularly at risk. The issue has persisted for nearly six months.
Despite repeated representations to the ward office and several online complaints, residents claim that no repair work has been carried out so far.
