A scuffle between a maternal uncle and his nephew over payment of a traffic memo resulted into the brutal murder of the former in Odhav.
Prakash Khatik, his maternal nephew and his friend were passing through Krishnanagar on a bike when they were intercepted by a traffic cop and fined Rs 4,500 for not having the bike’s documents and riding triples. Later, a scuffle broke out between uncle and nephew with the latter killing the former.
