Due to the financial crisis, all Go First flights will be cancelled on May 3-4. The company has filed an insolvency petition. The airline informed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of its decision.
The Mumbai-based low-cost carrier has also suspended flight bookings for the following two days. According to CEO Kaushik Khona, Go First has filed an application with the NCLT for voluntary insolvency resolution proceedings.
He stated that Go First is experiencing a financial crisis as a result of P&W’s failure to supply engines, which has necessitated the grounding of 28 flights.
