The largest raids by Income Tax (IT) officials in Vadodara since the pandemic occurred on Thursday. The raids took place at 30 different locations, including those of Real Estate Developers, Architects, and a Certified Public Accountant.
In this case, 30 different Income Tax teams began raids as early as Friday morning. Mukesh Agarwal, Sunil Agarwal, Chirag Patel, Krunal Aarya (Agarwal), CA Keshav Agarwal, Ruchir Sheth, and Viral Sheth all had raids carried out on their homes.
From early morning on Thursday teams of Police and IT officials conducted raids at locations of following groups:
Teams of Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot and Bharuch IT officials joined the raids with Kheda, Anand and Nadiad Police teams. Income tax officials seized mobile phones of people associated with the groups.
