Saraswati Hospital has trained over 1,000 people in first aid and emergency response over the past year, extending its outreach across residential communities, schools, healthcare facilities and workplaces to strengthen public preparedness for medical emergencies.
The training sessions have covered DoubleTree by Hilton, La Renon Healthcare, IDP School, Shree Narayana Guru School, Urban Health Centre (South Bopal), Sun Atmosphere, Swati Chrysanthemum, Orchid Sky, Sureel Willows, Sheladi Sarva Society, Mehar Sarthya Society and Sanand GIDC.
Led by Dr. Anand Soni, Emergency Physician at Saraswati Hospital, the sessions cover essential first aid techniques, emergency recognition and compression-only cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), emphasising the importance of timely intervention.
Dr. Anand Soni said, “Most cardiac arrests happen at home or at work, not in a hospital. The first few minutes decide the outcome, and anyone trained in compression-only CPR can make that difference.”
The hospital has also conducted corporate health talks at the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Intas Pharmaceuticals, KashivBioSciences, Simform, Ecosmob Technologies and Tata Motors. These sessions focus on preventive healthcare, employee well-being and informed health choices.
Through these initiatives, Saraswati Hospital aims to improve emergency preparedness and make essential health education more accessible beyond the clinical setting.
