Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and the Nagar Primary Education Committee created a record on October 6 by forming the largest human rangoli depicting contemporary mandala art at GMDC Ground.
A total of 6,424 people participated in the event, which was organised early in the morning. The participants were arranged in disciplined circular rows and wore colourful hats, creating an eye-catching mandala pattern when viewed from above. The word “BHARAT” was formed at the centre of the human rangoli using a human chain, becoming the main attraction of the display.
The event, organised by the AMC, was recognised by the Asia Book of Records as the Largest Human Formation Depicting a Contemporary Mandala Art. The participants created a live contemporary mandala artwork based on the theme of Saptadhara, adding another record to Ahmedabad’s achievements.
