Western Railway’s Ahmedabad division will operate special trains between Gandhinagar Capital and Dwarka on September 3, 4 and 5 to manage the expected passenger rush during Janmashtami.
Train No. 09521 will depart from Gandhinagar Capital at 8 pm and reach Dwarka at 5:50 am the following day. The return train, No. 09522, will leave Dwarka at 6:50 am and reach Gandhinagar Capital at 5 pm on the same day.
The special train will halt at Chandlodiya B, Ambli Road, Viramgam, Lakhtar, Surendranagar, Than, Wankaner, Rajkot, Hapa, Jamnagar, Kanalus, Khambhaliya and Bhatiya.
The service will consist of unreserved coaches, Western Railway said.
