The deadline for LPG consumers to complete e-KYC verification has been extended once again to August 31, 2026. The extension gives Indane, Bharat Gas and HP Gas customers additional time to complete the mandatory verification process.
The deadline was earlier extended from August 16 to August 23. The latest extension provides consumers with another week to complete their e-KYC.
Indian Oil has said that customers who fail to complete e-KYC by the deadline may face difficulties booking LPG cylinders at domestic rates until their verification is completed.
However, this does not mean that the LPG connection will be cancelled. Instead, customers may temporarily lose access to subsidy or domestic-rate benefits and could have to purchase cylinders at higher rates until the verification is completed.
What Happens If LPG e-KYC Is Not Completed?
Consumers with pending e-KYC may face problems with LPG refill booking and delivery services. In some cases, cylinder bookings could be temporarily suspended until the verification process is completed.
Customers who have already completed their e-KYC do not need to repeat the process.
How to Complete LPG e-KYC
Consumers can complete e-KYC from home through the official apps of their respective LPG companies. They can also visit their local LPG distributor for assistance.

How to Complete Indane e-KYC
Indane customers can complete e-KYC using the IndianOil ONE app and Aadhaar FaceRD app.
- Register on the IndianOil ONE app using the mobile number and email linked to your LPG account.
- Enter your 16-digit LPG ID, available on your cash memo or subscription voucher.
- Once your consumer details appear, go to My Profile and select the re-KYC option.
- Read and accept the required instructions and consent forms.
- Select face authentication and complete Aadhaar verification through the FaceRD app.
Indane customers can also visit their local distributor to complete the process. They may also ask the delivery person for assistance with e-KYC when their next cylinder is delivered.
How to Complete Bharat Gas e-KYC
Bharat Gas customers can complete the verification through the Hello BPCL app.
- Register on the app if you are a new user.
- Select the e-KYC option on the home screen.
- Verify your registered mobile number using the OTP.
- Accept the required terms and conditions.
- Follow the instructions shown on the app to complete the authentication process.
How to Complete HP Gas e-KYC
HP Gas customers can complete e-KYC through the HP Pay app, with Aadhaar face authentication carried out through the Aadhaar FaceRD app.
- Register on HP Pay using the mobile number linked to your LPG account.
- Verify the mobile number through OTP and create an MPIN.
- Go to My HP, select LPG, and choose e-KYC.
- Provide the required consent and select Capture Face.
- The Aadhaar FaceRD app will open automatically and guide you through the face authentication process.
Consumers are advised to complete the verification before August 31, 2026 to avoid possible disruption to LPG booking and domestic-rate benefits.
