On 13 August, Lionsgate Play brings audiences the exclusive digital premiere of Aakhri Sawal, starring Sanjay Dutt, Sameera Reddy, Amit Sadh, Tridha Choudhury and Namashi Chakraborty. Directed by Abhijeet Mohan Warang and produced by Nikhil Nanda and Sanjay Dutt under Nikhil Nanda Motion Pictures, co-produced by Ujjwal Anand, the film explores how an ideological debate unfolds against the weight of a historical legacy, examining the perspectives and convictions that shape it. At its core, Aakhri Sawal follows Professor Gopal Nadkarni, played by Sanjay Dutt, whose disagreement with his student, Vicky, played by Namashi Chakraborty, pulls him into a much larger moral and generational divide. Sanjay Dutt delivers a convincing, emotionally charged performance, anchoring the film’s exploration of ideology and truth.
