Indian cricketer and Delhi Capitals wicketkeeper-batter Abishek Porel was arrested on Tuesday in connection with a case involving allegations that he had sexual relations with a woman after allegedly promising to marry her.
The case was registered following a complaint by the woman, who is reportedly a medical student. Porel has been accused of engaging in a relationship with her on the assurance of marriage.
