NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Admit Cards Released; Here’s How to Download and Key Guidelines

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released admit cards for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination, which will be held on June 21. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official NEET website.

How to Download the NEET UG Re-Exam Admit Card

  1. Visit the official NEET website.
  2. Click on the “Admit Card for NEET (UG)” link displayed on the homepage.
  3. Select the “Admit Card for NEET (UG) 2026 Re-Examination” option.
  4. Enter your application number, password, and security captcha.
  5. Log in and download your admit card.

Before downloading the admit card, candidates have been advised to verify their bank account details to ensure smooth processing of any fee refund.

Bank Account Correction Window Open for Refunds

The NTA has reopened the bank account correction and reconfirmation facility for candidates seeking refunds of the NEET UG examination fee paid for the cancelled May 3 exam.

According to the agency, several candidates had submitted incorrect or incomplete bank account details, including invalid account numbers. To ensure refunds reach the correct beneficiaries, candidates can now review and correct their information through the registration portal.

Why Is the Re-Exam Being Conducted?

The original NEET UG 2026 examination held on May 3 was cancelled after authorities confirmed that the question paper had been leaked. Investigations revealed that some candidates had allegedly received questions on their phones two days before the exam.

New Measures Introduced for the Re-Exam

To make the examination process smoother for students, the NTA has introduced several changes:

  • The exam will be held in a single shift from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm.
  • An additional 15 minutes has been provided to complete attendance and other mandatory formalities.
  • The number of rough-work pages in the question booklet has been doubled.
  • Two rough-work pages will be placed at the beginning of the booklet and two at the end, making it easier for candidates, especially left-handed students, to use them comfortably.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has urged students to remain calm, stay confident and focus on their preparation for the re-examination.
