Air India Express is set to resume its direct flight service between Surat and Dubai from June 3, restoring a crucial international route that had been temporarily suspended due to operational disruptions linked to the Iran conflict.
The airline will operate the service three times a week — on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
As per the revised schedule, the flight will depart from Surat at 2:10 am and arrive in Dubai at 5:15 am. The return service will take off from Dubai at 6:40 am and land in Surat at 9:50 am.
The resumption of the direct connection is expected to provide significant relief to business travellers, tourists and members of the Indian diaspora commuting between South Gujarat and the United Arab Emirates.
Bookings for the route have reopened through the airline’s official channels and travel portals.
The Surat–Dubai sector remains one of the city’s most important international air links, catering to a large number of traders, professionals and expatriates with strong ties to the Gulf region. The service had been suspended temporarily following disruptions caused by the regional conflict.
