The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the re-examination for NEET (UG) 2026 will take place on Sunday, June 21, 2026. This decision comes after the agency received approval from the Government of India.
In a recent statement posted on X, NTA informed candidates and their families to stay updated through official channels only. “Candidates and parents are requested to rely only on the official channels of NTA,” it emphasized, providing contact details at [email protected] and phone numbers 011-40759000 / 011-69227700.
NTA had initially canceled the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test scheduled for May 3, citing concerns over examination integrity. With approximately 22.79 lakh candidates registered this year, they decided to reschedule the exam in light of serious allegations.
This action aligns with investigations prompted by inputs from central agencies regarding an alleged paper leak connected to NEET-UG. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is currently probing this case and has intensified efforts to uncover a broader network linked to the incident.
Recently, four suspects were brought to Delhi for questioning as part of these investigations. Among them are brothers Dinesh and Mangilal Binwal from Jaipur along with Mangilal’s son Vikas and Yash Yadav from Haryana. They’ve been confronted at CBI headquarters as officials aim to piece together the full extent of this alleged racket.
On Thursday morning, CBI agents executed searches at the Binwal family’s home in Jamwaramgarh, Jaipur. During these operations, agents interrogated family members while seizing documents, electronic devices, and various records from their properties.
