The Arangetram ceremony of four students from Parampara Academy of Performing Arts was held at the CEE Auditorium at the Nehru Foundation from May 8 to 10.
Kavya Joshi delivered the first Arangetram performance on May 8, followed by Mahi, a Grade 12 student, on May 9. Yana Dedhia, also a Grade 12 student, performed during the morning session, while the final presentation was given by Tejanshi Jani, a B.Tech EC student who has been learning the art form for the past 11 years.
The Ahmedabad-based academy was founded by Bijal Haria and has been training students in Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi for the last 16 years. Haria is an accomplished Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dancer who has performed at venues across India and abroad.
