Western Railway has introduced additional special train services to handle rising passenger demand. This includes a weekly reserved train between Asarva and Kanpur Central, along with an unreserved special service between Udhna and Jaynagar.
The Asarva–Kanpur Central Special (Train No. 01906) will run every Tuesday from April 7 to July 14, 2026. It will depart Asarva at 08:55 am and reach Kanpur Central at 07:00 am the next day.
In the return direction, Train No. 01905 will operate every Monday from April 6 to July 13, 2026. It will leave Kanpur Central at 08:15 am and arrive at Asarva at 05:45 am the following day.
The train will halt at several stations, including Himmatnagar, Udaipur City, Chanderia, Bundi, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Agra (Idgah), Tundla, Firozabad and Etawah in both directions.
The service will include AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches. Booking for Train No. 01906 opens from April 5, 2026, at PRS counters and on the IRCTC website.
Additionally, Western Railway will run an unreserved special train between Udhna and Jaynagar on select dates.
Train No. 09061 (Udhna–Jaynagar) will run on Sundays, April 5 and April 12, departing at 01:30 am and reaching Jaynagar at 02:30 pm the next day.
Train No. 09062 (Jaynagar–Udhna) will run on Mondays, April 6 and April 13, leaving at 05:30 pm and arriving at Udhna at 06:15 am the next day.
This train will stop at key stations such as Nandurbar, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Satna, Prayagraj, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Patna, Barauni, Samastipur and Darbhanga.
The Udhna–Jaynagar service will consist only of General Second Class coaches.
