ACPC to Fill 358 Seats; Remaining Vacancies to Be Filled Directly by Institutes
The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) announced on Monday that 25% of seats in ME and MTech programmes across six Centres of Excellence (CoEs) in the state will be allocated based on GATE scores.
A total of 1,084 seats are available across these institutions. Of these, 358 seats will be filled through the centralised ACPC process, which includes reservations for candidates from the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category. The remaining 798 seats will be filled directly by the respective CoEs.
The six Centres of Excellence are:
- Institute of Technology, Nirma University, Ahmedabad
- Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gandhinagar
- CEPT University, Ahmedabad
- Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Gandhinagar
- Ahmedabad University
- Parul Institute of Engineering & Technology, Limda (affiliated with Parul University, Vadodara)
An ACPC official said, “Eligible candidates, including those who have completed their BE or BTech or are in their final semester and expected to appear for examinations in 2026, can apply, provided they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria.”
