Nirma University’s Institute of Commerce has successfully hosted Accathon 3.0, a national competition that merges finance, accounting, and technology. This event was carried out in collaboration with the Indian Accounting Association (IAA) and supported by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Participants were challenged to develop analytical dashboards, applications, and website-based solutions aimed at solving real-world financial issues. It wasn’t just a test of knowledge; it brought together creativity and technical skills.
In the undergraduate category, Team Finbytes from Nirma University took home top honors. Meanwhile, postgraduate students also showcased their talent—Team Hustlers clinched victory in their category.
The event highlighted not only the innovative spirit of the participants but also the importance of integrating technology into financial practices. “This experience really opened our eyes to practical applications,” said a member from Team Finbytes.
