Ahmedabad’s C.G. Road has seen a shocking incident leading to the closure of a popular eatery. The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) sealed Wah Pizza & Bhel House today after a customer discovered a dead lizard in their chanapuri.
The complaint was lodged at around 12:30 PM, prompting immediate action from the AMC’s Health Department. Officials acted quickly, with a Food Safety Officer investigating the claims under food safety laws.
During the inspection, the complainant provided photographic evidence of the disturbing find. According to reports, officials confirmed that serious hygiene issues were present at the restaurant. There was significant dirt and live insects found inside deep freezers on-site.
As a result of these violations and in an effort to protect public health, AMC officials decided to seal the establishment indefinitely.
