A recent flight from Dimapur to Delhi operated by IndiGo has gone viral after passengers were seen playing housie mid-air, triggering an online debate about public behaviour and travel etiquette.
A video shared on X shows a section of the aircraft cabin where some passengers were reportedly calling out housie numbers loudly, laughing and chatting, while others appeared uncomfortable. The post described the situation as “35,000 feet up, zero civic sense,” adding that education is not just about degrees or fluency in English but also about knowing how to behave in shared public spaces.
According to the viral post, the four-hour journey turned unusually noisy, with constant chatter and shouting as the housie game continued during the flight. Although several passengers seemed to enjoy the activity, others were disturbed by the loud environment.Faces of individuals in the clip were blurred before posting.The video quickly drew mixed reactions online. Many users criticised the behaviour, saying that a few people can spoil the experience for everyone, while others said they usually avoid confrontation by using headphones or ignoring such situations.
