The Gujarat State Examination Board has announced that the Teacher’s Aptitude Test (TAT) for higher secondary teachers (Classes 11 and 12) will be held on March 29.The exam will follow a two-stage system, with a preliminary multiple-choice test first, followed by a main descriptive examination in May for candidates who qualify.
The test is conducted for recruitment of teachers in government and grant-in-aid higher secondary schools.Online applications for the preliminary exam will be accepted from February 10 to 19, and the last date to pay the registration fee is February 20.
Officials said the higher secondary TAT is being prioritised due to a shortage of teachers in Classes 11 and 12. A separate notification for the TAT of secondary teachers (Classes 9 and 10) will be issued later.
