School timings across Gujarat will be curtailed to 8 am–11 am on September 16 to enable participation in a mega blood donation drive marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.
As part of Operation Sindoor, more than 300 donation camps will be held statewide from 8 am to 4 pm. Government employees, including schoolteachers, have been asked to join the initiative.
The Director of Primary Education has directed district officers and schools to adjust schedules accordingly. Teachers and students will also be encouraged to participate in the drive.
