Two people were injured after an iron angle from the under-construction flyover near YMCA Club on SG Highway broke off and fell on a passing motorcyclist on Tuesday.
The affected stretch is already closed for traffic due to ongoing work. Officials said workers were removing iron bars for girder installation when the heavy metal piece suddenly detached, striking the biker and a woman. Both were rushed to hospital by bystanders who alerted emergency services.
