Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will inaugurate the Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad’s (IIMA) Dubai Campus during his two-day visit to the UAE on September 10–11, officials said.
The launch of IIMA’s first overseas campus will be held on September 11, with Pradhan joining UAE Minister of Higher Education Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar for the ceremony.
The visit aims to deepen India–UAE cooperation in education, innovation, and knowledge exchange. Pradhan will also meet UAE leaders, policy-makers, academicians, and institutional representatives to explore new areas of partnership.
As part of his schedule, the Minister will participate in a round-table with Indian higher education institutions operating in the UAE. According to the Education Ministry, the discussions will focus on academic excellence, fostering innovation, and creating opportunities to meet the aspirations of students and youth in both countries.
