To manage the festive rush during the Bhadarvi Poonam Fair, the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) will operate 5,500 additional buses between September 1 and 7 on key routes leading to Ambaji.
Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi said that 4,000 staff members will be on duty, supported by round-the-clock GPS monitoring for smooth operations and passenger safety.
Special mini-bus services will run on feeder routes, including 20 buses from Gabbar to Ambaji RTO, 15 from Ambaji to Danta, and 20 from Danta to Palanpur. The expanded network will also connect Ambaji with major cities such as Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Palanpur, and Danta.
The state government will set up temporary sheds, water facilities, toilets, banners, and public announcements to assist devotees throughout the fair.
