The Institute of Law at Nirma University organised the first edition of the ILNU Mock Trial Competition, where students were ‘presented an engaging legal dispute designed to challenge participants on key aspects of criminal law, evidence law, and procedural law.’ As per the college, the case involved multiple parties and raised complex legal questions requiring careful analysis, all of which saw participants navigating various legal issues. The event saw 20 top institutions compete in the three-day trial advocacy challenge, where Christ University-Delhi emerged as the winner while NALSAR University of Law secured the runners-up position.
