The state education department has unveiled a new financial support program for students from scheduled tribes who rank in the top three on state and district board exams. The plan is open to students in grades 10 and 12.
In a recent social media post, education minister Kuber Dindor highlighted the initiative under which the top three students at the state level for Classes 10 and 12 will receive financial aid of Rs 51,000 for the first place, Rs 41,000 for the second, and Rs 31,000 for the third position.
At the district level, the first, second and third place holders in the board exams will receive Rs 15,000, Rs 11,000 and Rs 9,000 respectively.
