Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today visited the family of martyr Mahipalsinh Vala and handed over Rs. 1 crore relief cheque. Vala’s family will get Rs. 2.75 crore relief sum from the State, Centre, and the Army including this Rs. 1 crore that has been paid from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Martyr Jawan’s daughter who is presently just one month old will get Rs. 5,000 per month till the age of 25. In addition to this, per month Rs. 5,000 relief each will be given to the widow and the mother of martyr jawan.
Vala achieved martyrdom during an encounter with terrorists in Jammu & Kashmir last month.
