The CBCA colts won the Reliance Inter District Under-14 title with a dominant all-round performance, defeating Gandhinagar District Cricket Association (GDCA) by virtue of the first innings lead. Rohan Patel, Pranshu Badheka, and Akul Panchal each took three wickets as CBCA bowled out GDCA for 113 in the first innings at Gujarat College ‘A’ ground. Ved Patel led the way for GDCA with a quiet 268-ball 78.
Pranshu then top scored with 132 off 41 balls, while Laay Bhavsar (100 off 34 balls) and Krish Sharma (46 off 32 balls) contributed some useful runs as CBCA scored 216. Prince Barot revelled in his five-wicket haul, but it was not enough to prevent GDCA from losing the decisive first innings lead. With the match decided, GDCA posted 34 for one in the second innings before the game ended.
