Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar Metro Services to Run on Revised Timings on November 8 for Diwali

Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar Metro services will operate with revised timings on November 8, 2026, in view of Diwali celebrations, the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) announced. The last trains will depart from terminal stations earlier than their usual schedule.

Currently, metro services operate from 6:20 am to 11 pm in Ahmedabad and from 6:20 am to 9 pm in Gandhinagar. However, considering passenger safety and operational security during Diwali firecracker celebrations, GMRC has decided to curtail services for November 8 only.

The decision is in line with similar safety measures adopted by other metro rail networks.
