Adani Total Gas Ltd. has increased the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in Ahmedabad by ₹4.45 per kg, taking the retail price to ₹98.47 per kg from October 23, 2026. The latest hike comes ahead of Diwali and is expected to increase fuel expenses for CNG vehicle owners.
The increase adds to the financial burden on consumers amid rising fuel and essential commodity costs. It may also affect the operating expenses of autorickshaw drivers, school van operators and other commercial vehicle owners who depend on CNG.
Adani Total Gas has revised CNG prices several times in 2026, following a price reduction in January. The latest increase is the steepest recorded this year, according to the figures provided.

School van operators may also consider raising transportation charges to manage their higher expenses.

The company’s revenue rose 34% to ₹2,109 crore from ₹1,576 crore during the same period, according to the financial figures provided.
