The Ahmedabad Institute of Technology (AIT) ushered in the festive season with its annual Pre-Navratri Festival, featuring vibrant garba, dandiya raas and traditional music.
The celebrations began with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp and prayers to Goddess Durga, after which hundreds of students gathered on the dance floor to enjoy the festivities.
Dressed in colourful chaniya cholis, kediyus and kurta-pyjamas, students joined faculty members and institute management in celebrating the festival with enthusiasm.A traditional attire and dance competition added to the excitement, with prizes presented in categories including Best Solo Performance, Best Couple Dance and Best Ethnic Outfit.
