The Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad, inaugurated the 2nd IEEE International Conference on Power, Control and Communication Infrastructure (IEEE ICPCCI 2026) on its campus, to be held from Oct 08-09, 2026. The two-day international conference brings together leading researchers, academic experts, and industry leaders to discuss technological advances in power systems, control engineering, Artificial Intelligence and communication infrastructure.
The inaugural ceremony commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony. Dr. Rajeev Jyoti, Director of IN-SPACe, graced the event as the Chief Guest and delivered a plenary talk on space technology opportunities. Prof. Pramod Kumar Jain, Director General of IITRAM, welcomed the delegates, highlighting the institute’s commitment to cutting-edge research.
Distinguished Guests of Honor included Mr. Milind Mahajan and Mr. Sanjeev Kulshresth from SAC-ISRO, along with Prof. Maniklal Das, DAU representing the IEEE Gujarat Section. Dr. Abhishek Rawat, Conference Chair, provided an overview of the technical program, while Dr. Priyesh Chauhan, Conference Chair and Head of Electrical and Computer Science Department, IITRAM delivered the vote of thanks.Plenary talks were delivered by experts touching various areas of Electrical and Computer Science Engineering. Dr. Rajeev Jyoti deliberated on the current and future opportunities that Indian innovators have in the area of Space technology. Dr. Jignesh Patoliya, Senior Design Verification Engineer, eInfochips Pvt. Ltd spoke on the importance of chips in advancing the field of AI. Prof. Abhishek, IIT Kanpur mentioned the importance and challenges of designing heavy lifting Drones, especially at high altitudes.
The conference features delegate presentations on AI, Healthcare, Cybersecurity, Communication, Antenna Technology, Intelligent Computing Systems, EV Technology, Intelligent Infrastructure, Control systems, Microgrids, Smartgrids, Power and Energy Systems among others, spread over 10 technical sessions over a period of two days. A total of 76 papers will be presented with an expected participation from more than 300 students, Faculty members and persons from the Industry and the government sector.
