The Gujarat Government will build a Yatri Niwas in Ayodhya to provide comfortable accommodation and modern facilities for devotees and tourists visiting from the state. The project will cost ₹80.25 crore and cover 6,929.28 square metres in an upcoming township in Ayodhya.
The facility, being developed by Gujarat Tourism Corporation, will have 308 beds across different types of rooms. It will also feature a large hall with seating for 864 people.Other amenities will include a reception centre, visitor lounge, souvenir shop, multipurpose hall, auditorium, meeting rooms, dining area, terrace garden and digital displays. The complex will also have attractive landscaping.Construction work has already begun, and the Yatri Niwas is expected to open for devotees from Gujarat by next year.
