YMCA Ahmedabad celebrated Founders’ Day in memory of its founding president, Dr John Geevarghese, with a felicitation ceremony and community outreach activities.
YMCA members who have excelled in sports, academics and other fields at the state, national and international levels were honoured with certificates by the management.
As part of the celebrations, YMCA officials, members and staff also visited several old-age homes across the city. They spent time with senior citizens and distributed groceries and fruits, making the occasion a community-focused celebration.
