The mystery surrounding Vijay Salgaonkar is set to reach its final chapter as Drishyam: The Conclusion brings back Ajay Devgn as the man who has repeatedly managed to stay ahead of the law. However, this time, the police appear to have new evidence that could put Vijay and his family in serious trouble.
The trailer, unveiled in Goa on Wednesday, September 9, revisits the events surrounding the Salgaonkar family and shows Meera Deshmukh, played by Tabu, returning with a stronger motive for revenge. Unlike earlier, Meera is not merely looking for justice for her son Sam she is determined to uncover the truth and settle the score.
The trailer begins with Meera questioning author Murad Ali, played by Saurabh Shukla, about what Vijay might do next. His cryptic response “Only Vijay knows, or God” sets the tone for another battle of strategy between Vijay and the authorities.
This time, however, Vijay admits that the police have evidence that could establish his family’s involvement in Sam’s death. The identity and significance of this evidence become the central mystery as the investigation intensifies.
Adding to Vijay’s troubles is Jaideep Ahlawat, who joins the franchise as a determined police officer leading the case. His character appears closer than anyone before to uncovering what really happened to Sam and connecting the evidence to the Salgaonkar family.
Despite the mounting pressure, Vijay remains confident in his ability to outsmart the investigators. The trailer also features Prakash Raj’s character warning that Vijay’s lack of formal education should not be mistaken for a lack of intelligence. As seen in the previous films, Vijay relies on careful planning and anticipation to protect his family, and the new chapter appears to push those skills to their limits.
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film features Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Ishita Dutta, Jaideep Ahlawat, Rajat Kapoor and Shriya Saran in key roles.
With its tense atmosphere, confrontational characters and a mystery centred on the evidence against Vijay, the trailer sets up a high-stakes final chapter. Drishyam: The Conclusion is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on October 2.
